Rib Splints

Instructions
The distal and proximal ends of the ribs ready for fixation were stripped of the periosteum and given anatomical repositioning to preserve the fracture fragments and return them to their original position, avoiding excessive stripping of the periosteum and paying attention to the protection of intercostal nerves and blood vessels; after fixing both ends of the fracture with repositioning forceps, the corresponding type of rib splicer was selected according to the transverse diameter of the ribs.
